iCoinSummit 2018 ICO battle winners get over $1,100,000 investment

Taking place in Limassol, Cyprus on 9-10 May 2018, the iCoin Summit was the biggest Blockchain and ICO event Cyprus has ever seen, proving to be a huge success. The event welcomed 1482 attendees and blockchain enthusiasts, over 30 world-class speakers and 19 start-ups in their Initial Coin Offering (ICO) stage competing for a live investment.

The iCoinSummit went down in history for hosting the world’s first ICO battle with live investment. After an intense pitch session, 4 ICOs (Safein, Behavioural Exchange, Grapevine and Heptapolis) made it to the semi-finals, with Safein and Grapevine advancing to the finals. Grapevine ended up winning the jury’s vote, while Safein won the public vote. The winner of the iCoinSummit 2018 ICO battle was Safein, receiving 50.4% of all votes, with Grapevine coming in close with 49.6% of votes.

Safein continued forward with the investment pitch where investors from various backgrounds were ready to invest. As a result, SafeIn took home $25,000 from The Naga Group, $10,000 worth of services from Top ICO List, $85,000 from multiple investor parties and $100,000 worth of marketing budget from 7MARKETZ Group media brands (AtoZ Markets, NewsOgram, iCoinSentiment and Fintech Events Center). Finally, zero commission cryptocurrency exchange Cobinhood guaranteed a listing on their exchange. In total, SafeIn took home $220,000 worth of investment + an exchange listing guarantee.

Meanwhile, the second place winner Grapevine, a blockchain powered healthcare provider, received $300,000 marketing budget donation from 7MARKETZ Group, whereas ICOSoft also opted in for $50,000 worth of services. Additionally, Accelerator Frankfurt co-founder Maria Pennanen, Top ICO List founders, Ventureboost co-founder Dr. Jay Best, GPU Mining & Blockchain Labs CEO Jonathan Forte and Magpar Group CEO Phil Millo were also among the investors supporting the healthcare revolution. The final surprise for Grapevine was presented by Cobinhood CMO, Daniel Chang who guaranteed a listing on the exchange once Grapevine finishes it’s ICO.

Yagub Rahimov, CEO and Co-founder of 7MARKETZ Group also accepted to join Grapevine and Decenternet projects as an advisor. Both projects received $300,000 worth of media budget from 7MARKETZ Group as a donation. Every other ICO project pitching at the event will also be receiving 6 ETH worth of media budget for AtoZMarkets.com.
